Originally built in 1929 the Chateau Elysee stands just minutes from downtown Hollywood, and served as a popular retreat for Hollywood nobility during the booming 1930s. Now owned by the Church of Scientology Celebrity Centre International, the building carries the tradition as a safe haven for artists and continues to nurture the artistic ability of the culture. Located within the Chateau on the ground floor is the long-time awarded Renaissance Restaurant. European Chef Phil Christodoulou features fine Californian and French cuisine in a beautiful rococo-style Golden Era of Hollywood setting.
