In 1974, Florence Maxwell Brogdon, a leader in the field of education established Venture School. For 35 years, it has given LA area students personalized instruction designed to help them learn at their own pace and in their own style. The school courses are structured so that they help all students achieve and excel in this truly unique academic environment. There is a limited enrollment and a detailed selection process at Venture School. This ensures that each student will receive individual attention and quality instruction. Academics are taught in a non-competitive, stress-free learning environment that builds confidence and respect. Students are free to set the pace of their learning program. If they choose, they can progress beyond their grade level. There are advanced classes and college prep courses available. These all meet the NCAA and University of California education requirements.
